一件优良产品的诞生须依托于一个国家产业基础的成熟及文化的强势，这是一个有关设计的国家性问题。要做一看上去像中国的产品并不难，难的是该产品如何基于本土的产业基础，并在全球产生影响力，如德国的汽车、美国的苹果。2014.11.07 周五 19:00 民生现代美术馆“设计的国家性” 讲座，设计师杨明洁将带我们探讨设计中的感悟以及中国设计产业发展中的前瞻性问题。
“Chopsticks” was the answer Yang once held when questioned by a French journalist what Chinese design was in his mind. Be it from a perspective of a psychological level or a customer as answer, compared to knives and folks, chopsticks by no means are complex. In another word: minimalism. Thus, shall we jump into the conclusion that minimalism actually originated from neither in Japan nor in Bauhaus Germany, but in China?
A qualified product relies on the maturity of the national strength and cultural prosperity. It is a matter about design under a context of nation. To make a Chinese-like product is no longer difficulty; to impact the whole world with a real strong base of local industry base is. Das Auto Germany and Apple from America are two of the biggest successes. This time, designer Jamy Yang is invited to embark on his feeling sand thoughts upon the national design as well as a series of insights of the contemporary Chinese design’s tomorrow.
讲者：杨明洁，著名工业设计师，YANG DESIGN及YDC创始人，在浙江大学与中国美院完成七年学业后，获德国WK基金会全额奖学金赴德留学，获工业设计硕士后，任职于慕尼黑西门子设计总部。囊获了包括德国红点奖、iF、日本G-mark、美国IDEA、亚洲最具影响力设计银奖在内的六十多项设计大奖。其作品展出于全球各大设计展与博物馆。2005年回国创办YANG DESIGN与YDC，迄今已分别发展成为在产品创新与城市创新领域的领先策略与设计顾问机构。2014年杨明洁创办的中国首家私人工业设计博物馆在上海正式落成，其收藏的近千件工业老产品与当代优良产品展示了工业设计的历史、现代与未来。
Jamy Yang has received master degree of industrial design from Germany with full scholarship of WK Foundation, after7-year study in Zhejiang University and China Academy of Art. He went on to design products for Siemens at their headquarters in Munich, and on returning to China, he founded YANG DESIGN and YDC in 2005. It is his fusion of craftsmanship and innovation that has made Jamy the one have achieved international recognition, winning over 60 local and international designing awards including five Red Dots, iF, G-mark, IDEA and DFA Silver. His works have been displayed in renowned designing exhibitions and museums worldwide.
